... because if you don't, I probably won't be able to hear you...
Okay... so here we go... i just signed a contract with myself to publish blogs. I negotiated a pretty sweet deal for myself... For every blog I post, I get to treat myself by downloading one song off of iTunes. I wonder if that makes me a paid professional, or if I still retain amatuer status? And if I am still an amatuer... then if I don't hire an agent, can I reenter the draft again the next year?
Okay, so blogs? well, when i was a kid, you were given some horrible lined paper and a bic pen and told to keep a journal of everything going down. It was pretty cool, because you could write about girls that you liked but were too afraid to say anything too and you could dog on all your friends for doing stupid things without them finding out about it and stuffing you inside a garbage can outside of the lunchroom. Oh wait? That was just me? Oh, okay... well that was the blog of the 80's... now we all have the fancy laptops with the wifi access and the 100 gig harddrives so we can peck away at all hours of the day and now we can share our thoughts with the entire world!!
So the first thing i must share is the stunning amount of people named "Sidd" on Friendster... unfortunately, none of 'em have a direct link to me... but I did notice that the 57-some people have basically stolen the uniqueness of my name and are now capitalizing on it on the Friendster circuit. Not that that upsets me... quite the opposite... I am hoping the name catches on... or at least enough for Disneyland to create a keychain with my name on it between "Shane" & "Simon"... that is the sign that I have arrived... or at least me name has arrived...
